These PTO programs are specifically focused on fundraising. All money goes toward helping our amazing teachers and making great experiences for our kids.

Tax Credit Donations

State law allows Arizonans to contribute up to $400 to public schools for extra curricular activities and then deduct that amount directly from their state income taxes through a tax credit. Contributions must be postmarked by December 31 of the year to which you want to apply your tax credit. Individuals and couples filing jointly may take advantage of this tax credit. A maximum of $200 can be deducted per individual tax return, or couples filing a joint return may deduct a maximum of $400. You must have a receipt from your school to submit with your taxes.

Your tax credit donation helps students attend extracurricular activities like athletics; art and music programs; character education; and field trips. These programs develop well-rounded students who in turn build strong communities.

Clicking here will take you to the Kyrene District Tax Credit webpage.

Please remember to select Waggoner Elementary when making your donation. Thank you!

We all shop for groceries, sometimes two or three times a week. Now turn those shopping trip into easy cash for your school, and encourage friends to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex®, in almost every aisle of the store. All you need to do is clip and send them to your school’s Box Tops coordinator —- each one is worth 10¢ for your school.

Box Tops is making some changes, so right now there are two ways to participate. The classic way is to clip any Box Tops off products you buy at the store (see the Product List - Click here) and send them to school with your student.

The new Box Top program is digital. You will need to download the Box Top app from the iPhone App Store or Google Play store, which you can then use to scan your receipt. Waggoner will earn 10¢ for each product on your receipt that is participating in the Box Tops program. Receipt scan must be completed within 14 days of purchase. Eventually the Box Tops for Education program will be completely digital but for now they will continue to accept clipped Box Tops if they are not expired. Please keep sending them in!

Over 100 retailers give eBoxTops to your school when you shop online at the Marketplace.

Plus, you become an Online Power Earner and can earn Bonus Box Tops!

Carnival Games: Student Zone

We are excited to introduce and create a new area/zone for our schools Carnival this year. It’s called the Carnival Games: Student Zone.   It is an area where kids and families (with adult supervision)  can create a carnival style game on their own and enter it to be part of the school Carnival. It’s a FUN way to be creative and get involved.

This is an optional opportunity for those interested.

We currently have 6 carnival style booth games which include: the whiffle ball toss (into baskets), the penny toss (onto flat surface), the bottle stand,  golf: hole in one, the bean bag toss (knock down cans), and the ring toss (on bottles). We ask that these games not be recreated.

If you and your family, classmates, or friends, would be interested in creating a Carnival style game together, we would love to see your ideas and plan. Games can be created amongst family members, friends, schoolmates, etc. It’s all up to you.

We ask that you fill out the Google Form below and submit your Carnival Game by Wednesday April, 6th at 12:00pm noon
